what podcasts would you recommend listening to??
hmm honestly it depends on your preferences bcs theres such an incredibly amount of stuff out there.That being said,personally i lean towards podcasts that tell stories or make me laugh,or both.Im so sorry for the length of this,i just get excited about the podcasts that i like
Radiolab
They cover such an incredible variety of topics revolving around science and culture.Its informative but also fun to listen to and the hosts are curious and enthusiastic about the subjects they cover.

Similar to radiolab,it is an informative podcast about little details in design and architecture and the stories behind them.
Sawbones:a marital guide of misguided medicine
Or just sawbones.A podcast about medical history and how wrong we got things before we knew how to properly treat people’s ailments.Educational but also comedic.
The adventure zone
A D&D podcast that has made me laugh out loud in public places multiple times.The people hosting it make so many jokes and dont take themselves too seriously. I’d recommend listening to episode 1.5 if you want to get straight to the point of the story+characters( 2/4 of the people involved are the guys who do monster factory,if thats a selling point)
Friends at the table
Another D&D podcast.I’ve been listening to season 1 and Its a little slower paced in the first few episodes so it might get you a while to get used to it.Then the further you go,theres cliffhangers and plot twists and all sorts of predicaments the characters are faced with.Its also really interesting to see how world-building is a team effort in this podcast rather than exclusively the DM’s job.

Hosted by the Mcelroy brothers,its what i imagine a auditory shitpost to be like.Personally,it took me a while to get used to bcs i needed to get the hang of the shows structure and also understand their sense of humour,but its a show i rly enjoy now.

A horror podcast told in a surprisingly chill way.It covers topics such as monsters,serial killers,ghosts and haunted locations.If you like spooky stories,i definitely recommend listening.There are some episodes which include instances of abuse but im pretty sure the host always gives a warning beforehand

A story about a mysterious message of extraterrestrial origin.Its a work of fiction although its very easy to forget.(its also concluded but i still havent finished it)
