Emerging from the shadows because I suddenly remembered this:
Three years of Ink and Blood!
I can’t believe it’s been already three years since I started posting the series - or well, actually I do: a lot of things have changed in my real life since then and writing and posting the series was, at times, more like a curse than a pleasant hobby so I cannot say I did not feel the years.
So it does feel like it was ages ago: I was at a different stage in my life back then, already with limited free time but nowhere close to the professional responsibilities and pressure I have now, so I could never imagine starting a gargantuan writing project like that one today, or writing at all. I’m happy I did it back then when the idea came to me and I somehow found the courage to post it and ignore whatever the fandom may think of my headcanons and interpretations (or of the writing of a non-native speaker)
Now the finished series is out there for anyone who is looking for it and even though I “retired” from it and from the fandom in general, I like to think that someone may suddenly remember about W.I.T.C.H., think about Cedric, Orube, Phobos, Weira and the Metamoor lore, and maybe get closure through Ink and Blood.
I'm nostalgic for the fandoms of my childhood
