@priismata Illya’s feeling a little sleepy from today’s training, and she’s going to rest her head on Archer EMIYA’s lap
The bowman had witnessed the girl practicing before – multiple times actually, but always chose to step away and allow her to have some fun. The telltale style and posture of tokusatsu were easy for him to pick up; the theatrics, how certain moves flow in order to allow someone with little martial arts knowledge to perform and to be easier to edit. Cool in theory, not so practical in reality. Besides, what would be the warm to allow a young girl to have fun? Children should be allowed to play, to make a fuss and enjoy whilst they still have the energy and their lives are bright, filled with hopes and dreams. One day, however, he stepped in. Perhaps he saw a potential, or it could be that it wouldn’t hurt to assist her into truly incorporating a move or two in her repertoire in a satisfactory manner. A magical girl? How foolish. …Yet… Foolish things are always so beautiful.
It had been quite the workout for a young girl. She might be used to fight, to endure extraneous conditions – but she was still a child, one that is also unused to train her physical body like that. Coming up with a new move isn’t an easy task even for experienced fighters either. Before long, her small head rested against his lap and her soft breathing brought a small smile to his lips. Did his little sister also slept so soundly? Faded memories that couldn’t be returned, but it was fine: Archer would always remember in his heart how he felt about her; this summer child is also precious to him even if he wouldn’t ever admit aloud. His calloused hand gingerly stroke her pure hair, silently wishing she dreams of happy times. Fun times. Times with smiles and love, things that Archer hopes that she will be able to attain in life. A happier life. ❝ Did you had fun today, Illya?❞ he breathed, a voice almost unlike his own. A voice of someone long forgotten.
