This photo is 15 years old, I took it the day after meeting who was probably the best friend I thought I had in my life. It was the year 2007, and we photographed ourselves in the room of the old Senator hotel on Gran Vía with Calle de Montera in Madrid, during the 2007 Euro Pride, with that youth on the surface and that look full of life and eating the world. Until today I have been tempted to return to Madrid Pride after three years that have passed like an eternity and a betrayal that still bleeds me. I don't want to relive the disloyalty of someone who was very important to me, who has meant so much, who taught me and opened me up to the gay world, to the night, to the codes of the homosexual environment and how we gays move through those roles, the which unfortunately, has separated me from his life and even more so when, with the passage of time, you realize that he got rid of me as soon as the opportunity arose, without saying a word, without giving me a miserable explanation. The most terrible thing about all this is knowing and accepting that you have lived a friendship lie, that everything was in his interest and that when you were no longer of any use to him, he expelled you from his life as if you were a cockroach. Not for him, but for me it has been a very beautiful friendship, a healthy brotherhood and I am left to live it to the fullest and with all my heart. I want to keep what is good, what he taught me, what he entrusted to me and what we shared and although they mean nothing to him, the twelve years that our friendship lasted I felt as true, poor me.
