I got into an argument on facebook (yes, I know) about some guy claiming that Frogman's Not all M&M's post is horribly bad because it has generalising rethoric and if it was said about [insert minority here] it'd be nasty and stuff. And I've honestly no idea how to answer someone who has no problem with what you're saying, but how you're saying it. Any ideas on how to counter this?
They are arguing semantics instead of addressing the very real issue of male entitlement and violence against women and the fact that their priority is arguing about an analogy instead of focusing on an issue that puts thousands (if not millions) of women in harms way shows that they really donât care about the issue. Saying you could put a minority into the equation is a false equivalent.  In 2011 white people murdered 4,729 people in the US while African Americans murdered 5,486, not that big a difference compared to the fact that men were responsible for 90% of all homicides which is a HUGE difference in regards to homicide offenders by gender.  Also in 2011 268 women  killed their significant others compared to 1026 men who killed their significant others. Â
