I was playing in at a regulare rel last night. If an oponent puts thier deck in the middle of our play mats is this presenting the deck? If I am still shuffling can they then pick up the deck and start shuffling again? How does this change at competitive? Thank you!
In general, players present their decks simultaneously or in close temporal proximity. If you’re still deep in the middle of shuffling your own deck, there’s no harm in your opponent picking up their own deck again to shuffle it some more. This is fine at Regular REL. I’d have more of an issue with a player doing this at Competitive REL, where the point at which a deck becomes presented or not is of more importance.
