Prepositions of place refer to those prepositions that can be used to show where something is located. There are three preposition of place:
1. At: It is used for a point. For example:

- I am standing at the door.
- The store is located at the corner of the road.
- I am at home.
2. In: It is used for enclosed spaces. For example:
- He is in Dubai.
- The bed is in the room.
- He is working in the store.
- The phone is in my bag.
- It’s in the tower.
- I read the news in the newspaper.
- The birds are flying in the sky.
3. On: It is used for surfaces. For example:
- The jug is on the table.
- The dog is sleeping on the floor.
- The news is on the cover page of the magazine.
- She wrote a story on her new notebook.
- He is on the train now.
- She is on her way to the theater.
- I saw the movie on television.
