I am definitely not built for cold and it's 2°C as of now, suffice to say, it's absolutely hard to function properly let alone Study, but I'm doing all I can. The future me is going to be thankful!
Spiced apple cider, favorite playlist, and this sweet kitten helping me with my studying today
I have an anatomy exam tomorrow afternoon, and I genuinely feel like I’m not even slightly prepared to take this exam. This is also the same class that I didn’t have access to the textbook and lab manual for because my access codes weren’t working. Luckily the company sent me new codes on Friday and now I’m playing catch-up with the reading and my lab assignments. It’s driving me insane and I’m fairly certain I will be studying well into the night and into the afternoon right before my exam.Â
I’m trying to cut back on dairy because it doesn’t make me feel all that well when I have it, but dairy I’m struggling to find a dairy free yogurt I like. This one wasn’t horrible but I didn’t like the calories, added sugar, lack of protein, etc. If anyone has any recommendations for dairy free yogurt please let me know.Â

The journey doesn’t end when you fail, the journey ends when you stop trying.
I really thought that my dream of going to medical school and being a surgeon was dead. But there’s hope.

Happy studying!!
Wondering what medical school admission officers are really looking for in a good applicant? Find out from someone who knows.

                 Wednesday is a new Monday!
But who really cares about weekdays on holidays, right? Sometimes during summer break I even forget what date it is. And as much as I enjoy procrastinating, relaxing and doing nothing, there is no time for this. Moreover I kind of began feeling bored with TV shows, so it’s time to start working and by this I mean studying.
There will be a whole post about my results and feelings about the past school  year, but now I just want to say that it was easy-peasy comparing to the oncoming year. Preparation for med school isn’t a walk in a park, even if you don’t have to study Biology, Chemisty and Physics in language you don’t know well. And to make the senior year spicier, there are four school exams called maturitas (something like A-levels, I’ll explain later). Exam in Slovak language and literature is an obligatory one and because this isn’t my first language I’m freaking out. So starting with today I’m slowly preparing for the hell, which will be waiting for me in the end of the next school year.Â
Maybe I’m weird for not just chilling during all summer break or finding a part-time job to earn some money, but I’m sure that now is the best time to start preparing. Being a great doctor is such a huge dream and a lifelong goal for me, so not losing my chance because of laziness sounds good. I hope that motivation will last, because the process is long and tiring (at least that’s what people say), there is an enormous amount of information I have to know to put in my head and don’t forget.
