How many children are you planning to give Halsin and Kiaran?
Oh, Oliver and Thaniel would be on the seventh sky when they find out Halsin is pregnant!
i haven't decided on a number, but it is A LOT of Silverboughs. They're already planning their second and third while Halsin is pregnant with their first. They pretty quickly settle into "not trying for a baby but really not NOT trying for a baby, whatever happens happens" which pretty much means a ton of littles because they are two VERY fertile people, LMAO. And they are fully aware of this and happy with it.
THEY SO WOULD. But also Oliver is a bit nervous, because that little guy already worries about his place in people's lives- he already feels like everyone just wants Thaniel, and not him. He's very happy to have playmates of course, but he does very much worry Halsin will get bored of him.
The orphans at the commune have similar worries about being replaced, which Halsin and Kiaran are happy to dissuade them of. <3
There's some version of our au where Ford gets far enough along to be visibly pregnant before portal incident happens.

Making sure the baby’s safe while hopping between dimensions is tricky, but Ford’s up to the challenge!
