I couldn't quite put my finger on but now I know what today's generation kpop groups, both male and female, lack big time compared to 2nd generation ones : creativity. They don't take risk, no one stands out and none of them have an iconic song/sound except maybe for the 2011/2012 groups like BAP, Block B, Vixx, even exo that I don't stan. Groups who came later on more or less copied the concept of those mentioned group without really bring something personal
everything since 2013 is the repetiton of the repetition so….yes!! kpop doesnt impress me anymore…not like when i met them in 2012….maybe some groups do…but the majority became basic and repetitive…..…i cant say girl groups are the ones saving kpop more than bg in creativity tbh.
