#precure analysis

First off is Bad End Sunny’s! A completely bare terran with a constant sunset! (“But why are you starting with Sunny instead of Happy?” I’ll get to that in a moment.)

Also sorry the images are such bad quality. Was too lazy to screenshot from Animeowl cause it’s so buggy.

Now obviously her domain is in a constant state of sunset. But you know what we DONT see? The sun itself. No matter the angle it’s never visible. Like it’s not there What does this mean?

Well, during battle Bad End Sunny goes on about how she’s “the sun that’ll burn everything to the ground.”. So in her domain she is LITERALLY the sun. And if you wanna take it a step further she’s probably already burnt everything there to ash cause there’s literally nothing to see.

Next up is Bad End Peace’s field of giant, beautiful flowers.

Now, when I was making an edit for TikTok I looked at her field and was like “wait, it’s actually weirdly beautiful.”. Then it hit me. Her battle field is DECEPTIVELY beautiful just like how she’s deceptively meek and shy to lure Cure Peace into a false sense of security. This whole place is a trick!

I just found that cool. Kinda not much else to say tho.

Okay now for Bad End March. A land in the sky. Growing vines in a sea of clouds

It’s very clear her domain is inspired by Jack and the Beanstalk.

This COULD be just because the show has a very light fairytale theme. But where’s the fun in not looking way to into something? The way I see it (and this is probably JUST me) you could argue the theme of giants fits Bad End Marchs ideals. Bad End March thinks the strong shall trample the weak, giants trample those smaller than them.

Hell, there’s even a moment where Bad End March STOMPS on Cure March. Just like how a giant is usually portrayed stomping on others. (God this pics blurry af)

Okay next up! Bad End Beauty’s land of ice, adorned with icicles sharp as spears.

Now, at first I was pretty stumped on how to connect this to Bad End Beauty’s personality. But my friend pointed out something I didn’t notice. That her field has a sort of theater stage look to it. All perfect and whatnot and the dim lighting and everything. So a perfect display of beauty. Literally STAGED.

Even the way she’s often standing in this icicle gives me showman vibes. Like a performer

Also when she dies all the icicles shatter, which could potentially symbolize a broken facade. (God, I never realized how theatrical bad end beauty is. Might need to do full analyses for all of them)

And now for the elephant in the room. Bad End Happys…rocks.

I tried so hard but I could NOT find any super significant and metaphorical meaning to bad end happys battleground. Bad End Happys practically the definition of Schadenfreude (being happy when others are miserable) and her stage is just a barren, space-ish floorless place with floating rocks.

Honestly it’s SOOOO boring. Which is awful in her cause she’s literally their LEADER. She should have the most interesting battlefield, not the most uninspired.

I was brainstorming ideas for a potential more fitting battlefield for her and immediately a carnival came to mind.

It’d fit her pretty well. Her whole thing is loving being happy, and enjoying others suffering cause it makes her feel even more happy. What place is happier than a carnival? And what place is more delightfully miserable than a dark carnival? Could you imagine just like this completely dark carnival with the only lights being the flashing, disorienting lights of the rides. The two fighting on top of moving attractions and taking advantage of the constant motion.

Way more interesting than JUST ROCKS.
