This brutalist museum stands as a monolithic tribute to raw precast concrete force and refined geometric forms, a cultural landmark in the Philippines. Monolithic precast surfaces are animated by textured precast reliefs and complex angular openings, creating a dynamic and immersive environment. Visitors are small figures against the monumental scale, ascending a monumental staircase to discover unfolding gallery spaces. Natural light is used as a dynamic tool, animating the precast surfaces and making the entire building feel alive. This project demonstrates Fulgar Architects' vision for a museum where the architecture is, itself, a powerful curated event. Witness a new addressing for art, defined by sculptural form and raw force.
