You really fucked up this time, you knew you shouldn’t have challenged that older blue blooded troll, but your pride got the better of you. You can’t see a thing, everything has gone dark, you can’t do anything but stumble around trying to find your way to… something or someone that you recognize. you’re lucky the blue blood didn’t just straight up kill you right then and there, well, that’s if you even want to call that luck. After tripping over countless unknown objects and nearly running face first into several trees you’re starting to think you would actually rather be dead right now. You’re starting to wonder whether everything was this disorienting for Terezi after you blinded her, you cant believe this other blue blooded asshole even managed to blind you in the exact same way, karma is swift and just you suppose. Speaking of Terezi though, you should try to find her, she might still hate your guts for blinding her back then but she wouldn’t just leave you out here all defenceless like this, right? Except how are you going to find her when you don’t even know where you are?

You continue to stumble around for a little while longer until you hear some rustling of leaves ahead of you. Is it even ahead of you? Maybe it’s coming from behind you, hell if you know right now.

“Vriska?” Someone just said your name, was that? It’s gotta be.

“Terezi?? Is that you?” You call out to her while trying desperately to figure out where her voice came from. You also hope that wasn’t just a figment of your imagination.

“Holy crap, Vriska, what in the name of the Blind Prophets happened to you?!” Comes her shocked reply. Huh, looks like you can rule out the possibility of her being a figment of your imagination, that’s reassuring. You hear more rustling of leaves before you feel Terezi helping you stand up right and guiding you along somewhere.

“Haha well you’re not going to believe this but it looks like we can start a club for blind trolls now…” You curse yourself for trailing off at the end of that sentence and giving away your true feelings with it, but you know Terezi doesn’t judge people that way.

“Jegus Vriska, how did this even-? No wait, you can answer questions later, we’re getting you to my hive first.” She sounds… worried? You suppose that’s fair.

After walking for what seems like forever, you arrive at her treetop hive with the help of her guiding you. The two of you go inside and she gets you both a drink before helping you sit down without missing the chair and falling on your ass. Gog you feel so pathetic right now. You explain what happened to her, occasionally taking a sip of the drink she handed you.

“So yeah, I guess this means I’m pretty fucked now, huh? Haha ha…” You try to laugh it off and keep things lighthearted but you know you’re in seriously deep shit.

“No, you’re not,” She sounds dead serious, her words take you by surprise but before you can ask what she means she’s already continued talking, “My lusus and I are going to help you. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still mad at you for all the shit that went down during our FLARPing sessions, and I still kinda wanna make you pay for that but hey, where’s the fun in that when you can’t even move around by yourself without biting the dust or hitting your head on something?” You can practically hear the grin in her voice. You breathe a small sigh of relief though, already glad she’s willing to help you at all.

“Thanks Terezi, I owe you one.” You owe her big time if you’re being honest with yourself.

“Damn right you owe me one, now let’s get started on your training in the art of ‘seeing’ when blind!” She sounds far more excited about all of this than she should be in your opinion, it worries you a little. Just a little.
