Iโve been stuck for a while to find a way to communicate my relationship with my pre transition self. Sheโs not dead, sheโs still part of me, the part that reminds me of how far Iโve come, that keeps me connected to parts of girlhood. Iโm so proud of my younger self for pushing through her depression, all the times she didnโt think she could live anymore. Because of her, Iโm the person I am today. Because of her, I want to live life to its fullest now.
Make sure you stay, future you will be so grateful and proud of you for doing so <3

dad taking me to the doctors, letting me hold his hand tightly while I get my blood tests done to finally start hrt, distracting me from the needle piercing my skin. him telling me โthatโs it, youโre doing so well, resist a little more, itโs almost over,โ as he helps me taking deep breaths.
him guiding me through my transition, reminding me to take my t doses, him applying my gel on my body/helping me doing my injections himself since Iโm too scared to handle a syringe on my own.
dad teaching me how to handle the effects of testosterone, lending me his cool clothes, motivate me to work out so I can look the way I wish to.
listening to music together, him recommending me his favorite songs from when he was my age and listening eagerly to the songs I like as well without judging me.
dad tucking me to bed, kissing me softly before he lays down beside me and cuddles me to sleep, whispering sweet nothings and praises in my ear.
him praising me for my transformation, telling me how handsome I look, how I look just like him when he was my age, showing me his old pictures and I doing the same.
dad teaching me how to shave my face when my beard starts growing, giving me tips and advice to help my skin stay soft and smooth.
him brewing some soothing tea to help my throat as my voice changes, teaching me how to speak in a way that doesnโt hurt or to make it crack less.
