“ i’d never lie to you . ” ( Madoka at Sherlock, for when she's questioned about her real identity. )
(MOSTLY) ANGSTY DRABBLE PROMPTS
As a detective, one had to have no bias in one’s thought process. It didn’t matter if it was with someone they barely knew or one’s best friend since childhood. In this case, Sherlock had to deal with one of the most confusing cases he had. (He didn’t rate it very high, at least not yet.) It had to deal with the girl that he casually adopted - he clearly remembered the argument with Watson about that - after he married his wife.
There was nothing wrong with the Archer called Madoka, or so he thought. She wasn’t a bad kid. It was quite the opposite of that actually and he was proud of that, especially if she was a proper lady. Of course, there were moments that threw him off that he couldn’t explain. He did notice irrational behavior from her and then when confronted about it, it’s as if she didn’t remember.
After a bit of observation, Sherlock decided to confront Madoka about all of this. All he got was a confused look and the phrase,
“ i’d never lie to you . ”
Outwardly, he softly smiled at her and lightly patted her head as to show it was alright. He was going to get to the bottom of this, no matter what.
