How to pray powerfully. The statement on the promotional flyer made me stop to read more. I wanted to understand how to do this. You may have read my earlier blog post where I admitted my fear of public praying and the steps I took to help me improve in that area. But any topic on prayer always has me eager to learn more.

Let’s PRAY Strategically for Kanye; NOT complain!

First, I would like to congratulate Kanye West in giving his life to Jesus. I typically don’t listen to hip hop artists like Kanye; so I did not know of his new album, “Jesus is King”.

Typically, this type of news would fly under the radar with me. So, I would not have known if not for all the flax flying out from unlikely sources.

Really? Why am I hearing about church people complaining…

Dear Heavenly Father, I come boldly before you on behalf of my business, personal life, relationships, family and friends. I ask that you walk with me and provide the patience I desire in order to serve my purpose. I ask that you bless me according to my highest good. I willingly accept the changes that are for my highest good and I adapt and apply these changes. 

I ask that any roads forthcoming that are lesser than, that you redirect my path and teach me to let go of anything that has detached itself from me. 

I ask that your love and understanding walks beside me and with me. 

Activate the light of my soul and keep my feet from all harm. I ask not  for the patience of others, or from others, not that we do not seek patience. But I understand, and know for certain, one can only center his or herself. 

So I ask for my highest good, for your guidance and ask for patience when in the presence of others. I ask that you accelerate my dreams and goals and bring them into fruition right now. Not in the distance, but to help me propel and excel as I move forward. Let's start right now! In the holiest of all names, Let it be, it is done. I surrender my concerns and prayers to you for your favor right now. 

Finally, I ask that you teach me to surrender every wrongdoing to you for healing and shielding.

Thanks for sharing so kindly and with all due respect 

Dear Heavenly Father, I come boldly before you today. Teach me to find inner strength when faced with forces who believe they are stronger than your will. I ask that your power be present in my life daily. I ask that you teach my mind to separate adversary from friend. To accept all that ends.

I ask that you equip my sword with your blessings, slicing through every psychological curse upon my mind. Every psychological battle against the spirit. I know that your name is greater than and beyond this world.

You have placed us all here for a pressing concern to fulfill and do your will. I ask that you teach me of the inner confidence that is unshakable, teach us of the inner friendships that must be formed. Guide us through every sorrow, pierce every dark cloud and bless us with your significant presence.

Renounce and remove every shackle, that would have us oppressed and without your love. Dismiss confusion, dismiss hate or lack within ourselves. May we know how to reach you, in and out, in times of need and in times we do not need you. In the holiest of all names, Amen. Blessed it be the name of the highest! Let defeat be beneath our feet.
