Villain pride I: Pride for disabled people!
Silly outfits! Sarcasm! Versions of the universe’s most notorious villainous MASTERmind annoying each other! How can you resist?
Real talk for a moment: The villain on the right just doesn’t get any respect. There are jokes about his skin, but that’s it. I don’t see many people appreciating him or taking him seriously.
Of course, since I like to make fun of everything, I really can’t take any versions of any villain too seriously. But I do think it’s important to recognize that the villain on the right isn’t just a funny-looking character, but someone with a disability [though we’re never sure what that disability is].
Hence the T-shirt — Pride for disabled people!!! Hence also the joke, which is about the villain’s different styles and not their physical or mental states.
For more snarky commentary and crimes against fashion [tartan and otherwise], check out Your Villain & You. It comes in full-color print or pdf and black and white print!
