A quick list of all the PrapaiSky long fics I've written so far, complete with summaries and an unhelpful endorsement of why you should read them.

Heads up - All these fics are rated 'E' for smut.

A Plan Is A Work of Art (A House Built to Fall Apart) | COMPLETE, 70,641 words

Summary: The plan is to keep his head down, focus on work, and have an odd drink every other week with his best friend Rain. Sky’s not supposed to fall for his clients. He’s not supposed to fall for anyone.

The man from two floors down is making this very hard for him.

Read If You Like: blueberry muffins, hidden family connections, the idea of falling in love in an elevator, and a little scattering of angst and hurt/comfort.

It's Alright, It's Okay (It's Just Meant To Be That Way) | COMPLETE, 206,253 words

Summary: When Sky accepts an invitation to a house party hosted by his best friend's architect boyfriend, he's expecting cocktails and conversations about minimalism. Enter Prapai, forever smiling, perpetually-overdressed, and armed with a singular, stale pick-up line that Sky is determined to not let work on him.

But what if there is a grain of truth to the deja-vu that Pai insists he feels whenever he looks at Sky?

Guard You | COMPLETE, 33,699 words

Summary: Pai does not need a bodyguard. He especially does not need this one. Unfortunately, he’s not the one calling the shots.

A college!AU where Pai is stuck with a bodyguard, whom he absolutely, categorically does not need, but probably, annoyingly wants.

Rumour Has It (He's The One I'm Leaving You For) | ONGOING, 52,034 words, updates twice a month.

Summary:  A break-up is supposed to end a relationship. In Sky’s case, however, it seems to have kick-started a whole new problem. One involving a petty ex with a talent for revenge, a bartender who definitely wasn’t supposed to be part of this mess, and feelings Sky would really rather not deal with right now. Sky is newly single and fully committed to staying that way. It should be easy. Unfortunately, Prapai exists.

Ooo.... I am going to take sex off the table/desk/sofa and just talk their personalities...

Payu

Genuine, honest, forthright, and possesses an iron clad work ethic. He jokes around, but he is uncompromisingly mature and grounded. He respects himself and his work, which goes a long way.

Payu gets genuinely angry if someone disrespects his work. It's why he hates Stop so much, and why he doesn't take Graph seriously until the boy learns to take bikes seriously.

A huge peeve of mine in my own work is when someone says something is "good enough" or "the client isnt paying enough for more than this effort". No. You are paid to do a job. Regardless of the amount paid, the job should be done to the highest standards possible.

So the fact that Payu has that level of respect for his work, that makes me love him. And I consider that an important personality trait in a person.

Rain

Rain seems flighty and immature, but at the root of that is simply that he feels emotions more strongly and deeply than many around him, and he doesnt have a dishonest bone in his body to even consider average level of masking for those emotions.

He can read a room better than anyone, but he doesnt really know how to change that atmosphere. If someone is angry or sad or stressed, Rain knows in a second, but all he knows is what works for him, which isnt usually what the person needs.

Still, he isn't stupid, he isn't disconnected. When he worries about Sky, he will talk to Payu or Prapai for help fixing it if it is beyond him. After Sky's second assault, Rain doesnt push for Sky to talk about it, but he also doesnt leave Sky's side or stop doing everything he can to take care of him.

That kind of loyalty is an amazing quality in a person, especially as innocently as it comes to Rain. Naïve is not a bad thing, it shows he isn't jaded or cynical, which should be protected.

Sky

Sky won't lift a finger to fight for himself, which is devastatingly bad, but he will move heaven and earth for the ones he loves.

There is nothing Sky would not or could not do to protect his people, and he won't hesitate. When Rain is jumped by a good and held at knife point, Sky doesn't even hesitate to run downstairs, knowing if Graph is there, Chai is hiding somewhere nearby. It doesn't matter that he is scared, it doesn't matter that it brings up bad memories to see the attackers and Chai, all that matters is protecting Rain.

It would be wonderful if he would show some of that loyalty to HIMSELF, but having it for his friends is important too.

Prapai

Insanely intuitive, and incredibly decisive.

Prapai picks up NIGHT 1 with Sky that the boy was mistreated by an ex. He picks up on at least psychological abuse by the end of the 2nd meeting. By the 3rd, he knows it got physical.

Prapai can pick up on even micro-cues, and he truly and genuinely cares even about strangers. Even his most passive bed partners, Prapai takes the time to understand them and what they like.

And he doesn't hem and haw. He doesn't even pause at the idea of giving up his ways and becoming exclusive to Sky. He's just like "Oh, I guess I'm in love with him and done partying. Okay."

Prapai can't get these kind of cramps- he doesn't have the anatomy that some men who do have- some can give them he can't those.

Rain: That would suck because you can't microwave metal

Sky likes a bit of pain. That is kind of how Gun was able to get his claws in so deep.

Sky likes hard, rough, animalistic sex. Not the same way as Rain, Rain has a humiliation kink, but Sky loves to be TAKEN.

It isn't just loving to see Prapai undone. You can strip his emotions for Prapai out of it entirely because he is like that already the first time they have sex. He will lick his own fingers and shove as many in as he can with no further prep.

The office scene does not exist in the novel TECHNICALLY. Prapai does lay Sky out across a table and pound him, but it is at his condo. It was actually part of this scene from the night they go to the birthday party-

Prapai even stops and says, "Gel?"

It's Sky who cuts him off and tells him no. He doesn't want to wait. He just does his usual move- licks his fingers and goes to shove them in. He barely gets the tips in before Prapai yanks his hand away and rims him instead, until Sky begs him for dick.

In general, something to tag about Sky and Prapai's sexual relationship is that Prapai doesn't... how to phrase this...

He cares about what happened to Sky. He is enraged by it when he thinks it was "only" emotional abuse (not belittling that one bit, just to be clear) and that only grows when he realizes there was a deeprr mental, physical, and then sexual abuse component. Hell, he is ready to murder Gun already when he believes Gun hit Sky, not even knowing the rest.

So he cares, he really fucking cares, and he tends to show that by giving Sky the space to come to him.

From the start, he relies on what Sky is telling him he wants and how he wants it. He isn't microanalyzing, he isn't approaching a single thing through the lense of "Well he was abused so this might-"

None of that. He doesn't... again, phrasing, remember all I said above, but he doesn't "care" what MIGHT be happening or what MIGHT be going through Sky's mind.

He trusts and believes from Minute 1 that Sky will tell him what he wants or doesn't want. When they are strangers, when he knows every single ugly detail of Sky's past. He's always the same. He doesn't care in that he isn't ever worrying about where Sky's head is at, because he has such open and pure faith that any sexual partner would tell him if there was anything they don't like.

Plus, Prapai tends to be fairly neutral sexually and lets his partner add the modifiers. So their first time together, he plans to spend a good hour slowly stripping Sky and gently opening his body with tongue and finger, making the entire experience as shatteringly pleasureful for Sky as possible. Again- when they are STRANGERS.

That's the benefit of a man whose main and most overarching kink is body worship.

He doesn't try to assume what Sky will be okay or not okay with. He doesn't decide how Sky should be treated or any fragility he "should" have from his trauma.

He is always and consistently creating a space where Sky can just tell him what he wants more or less of, and he always obeys that. He lets Sky demand more intensity, and happily follows.

But rather than ever telling him to slow down, Sky is always egging him on to go harder, faster, and pulls Prapai further from his old zone of how hard he believed he was okay to be in bed.

So yeah. They never consider limits in light of Sky's past, because Prapai won't give any space to it unless Sky tells him to. Sky knows his trauma better than anyone else on the planet ever could. Prapai trusts that Sky respects him enough to know he is allowed to be honest.

And a good aside is that once or twice, Sky does think about things he is scared of because Gun used to do it, and he is ashamed he liked it (there is a passing hint that Gun sounded him or introduced other forms of CBT). But while acknowledging to himself that that is a trauma, he also specifically wonders if it might feel even better with Prapai doing it to him, the gentleness Pai would bring, and how that might make it okay.
