Devotions for tonight: "Ruah" is the Spirit of God that infuses all Creation. Everything that has being is endowed with the Spirit of Life. Therefore, every time you are stressed out and you take a deep breath and you moan to yourself "Oh God help me." God is already helping, it's already happening. "Prahna", Sanskrit, is the closest Eastern term for the concept of "Ruah". In Tibetan philosophy, Prahna is the vehicle that powers the mind. So in the end, we call for Ruah to calm us down when we are stressed or agitated, and that stems forth from Prahna. In other words, the breath of God powers the mind that calls forth the breath of God that calms the mind.
