I finally went and set up my tablet for my new pc (id already predownloaded my usual art programme when i first got it, but this isnt about medibang), but along with that set up, i decided to test a new programme i saw cross my tumblr dash one day
This here was my test run with Krita ^^ a night forest setting
Things I like: so many brushes and textured brushes~ the gridant options are nice too for that background I managed to make
Things I’m iffy on: the basic brush is surprisingly fiddly, not helped by the fact that I do not understand at all how that altering curve works to strengthen it :/ trying to draw the tiny fairies in the tree leaves was actually really hard for sketching little balls and giving them stick limbs
layers are fiddly as well but then ive gotten way too used to how medibang works (and i could use that excuse for a lot of things, ive used it for 2 years now)
I’d use this for backgrounds for now but i’d stick to medibang for now to do character stuff
