----⊰♆⊱----;; She was still counting her blessing when she stepped into the set building on the first day of official filming on the project that was going to be Game of Thrones. For Historia, she had only been in a few low budget indie films with mediocre reviews, yet, she was standing among stars that she had only imagined glimpsing one day!
Southern Ireland was still fairly nippy beginning of Spring, leaving Historia shivering with a few of the other lesser known people until they were addressed by the showrunner, in a cherry picker over their heads. “Welcome to the first day of what is sure to be a very exciting and jam packed five weeks of filming!” She laughed, with a few others joining her.
“How about we all get inside the script room and get to know one another? After we can run through the first episode and discuss filming schedules.” With that, she was lowered to the ground, and the group of people went farther into the building, much to Historia’s thankful body.
Each seat around a large table had been labeled with the name of the person and their character, and it seemed that everyone sat according to their film family, or counterparts. Being a huge nerd, Historia recognized so many names from both the book series, and names of the other actors and actresses.
But one name she didn’t recognize was the person playing Khal Drogo. Ymir Langner, huh? She had never heard of the name, but then again, they could be someone lesser known like herself. The man who played her brother on the show was very kind though, immediately pulling the blonde into a conversation. So much so that she hadn’t noticed when a woman took the seat to her right.
When the showrunner spoke up again, Historia nearly jumped out of her seat to find the actress so close.
Wide eyed, Historia stared at who she assumed to be Ymir. She was terrifying, though in the most beautiful way-- very fitting for female Drogo in her opinion. Of course, she knew some things were changed for film, and Drogo’s gender just happened to be one of them.
“And whose our Daenerys?” She heard someone speak from the other tend of the table. The little blonde stood up, making it easier for those farther down to see her. “That would be me!” She smiled brightly, fidgeting with the sleeves of her sweater. “I’m Historia Reiss! It’s a real honor to be here!”
“Is this your first big budget gig?” The Showrunner asked. “You’re really cute for Dany.”
“You should have seen her give the Stormborn speech.” The casting director spoke up, giving Historia thumbs up. “New talent that is scary accurate.”
“I’m just a big Game of Thrones fan. I may have accidentally committed the entire speech to heart.” She laughed, earning a few chuckles from other people before sitting down.
“And our Khal would be?” The showrunner went on, trying to move things along.
