Hi im seeing your posts about brothers BL and im so confused. Like, did the brothers get together? What happened to Tri? Did we get another second lead syndrome again?
Okay, so, Brothers and wtf is happening.
Basically, Prab is still flirting with Chol. Chol has a crush on Prab in return. They have made 0 relationship advancements in, like, 4 episodes and it’s obnoxious AF.
Tri, as it turns out, was the Frog Prince that was texting Chol all kinds of advice. And he’s had a crush on Chol for a very long time but was too shy/nervous to speak to him.
The twins (Mab and Mob) both have adorable crushes on Tri but have agreed that all they want is for him to be happy.
So... right now, Prab and Chol share feelings but are in stasis because the show refused to be interesting, Tri is being insecure and shy and it feels very out of character but whatever and the twins are sad and I want them to be happy.
Hope this sets the record straight (lol) on the current Very Boring Events of Brothers.
Oh, and some people definitely have SLS with Tri but I want Tri to get together with the twins and think Chol is just boring so, you know. No SLS here.
Watching Brothers right after ATOATS is like going from a perfectly comfortable couch to sitting on a sidewalk. You're not horribly uncomfortable, it's okay, but it might start raining or get too hot and, honestly, there are way better places to sit.
... Look, I'm still watching this show and it's better than The Cupid Coach and Stranger's Kiss. But that's mostly because of Khun and Kaow, tbh.
I wanted Maping to be such a deeper character. I wanted him to still struggle, I wanted him to try to do something and not succeed but get supported by the teacher ANYWAY so he can pursue his real talent with plants.
I want Prab and Chol to be... I don't even know, honestly. I wanted something that I didn't get and I can't quite put it into words. There's too much brother/sibling energy and not enough romance energy, I think. There was definitely more romance at the beginning.
Khun and Kaow are my perfect babies and the only thing they lack is screentime.
Admittedly, these two are way too stinking cute. It is a taboo relationship, but let us see how it plays out. Overall, I love that this series has given the boys a good support system.
Also, I love their mom. She doesn't understand, but she continues to try and understand and support both of them to the best of their abilities. She definitely gets a S-tier Mother Award for BL Category.
