“Lately, a lot of writers and editors who know better are casting these global PR events as personal or relatable interactions. Anyway, here's the global movie star and his superstar international lawyer wife, canoodling in front of a wall of cameras.” 🤭
on the subject of louis and liam:
sometimes i forget that they’re supposed to be parents
May I ask what industry you’re in for PR? I’ve got a bachelors degree in PR/Communications and I’ll start my masters soon. I’ve done one internship in an agency that worked with tv shows and actors and another internship in the health ministry. I enjoyed both, but the tv show agency was definitely more stressful, but also getting all the inside information was fun lol. My point is, is there any industry that you’ve loved working in or that you’d advise people not to get started in? I’m also gonna apply for a side job to an agency that does media training for a variety of clients, I think that would be fun too, except I’m horrible in front of cameras myself lol
Hey! I've worked for a public service and a ministry cabinet. Definitely less glamorous than show business! I started in cinema production company but as an assistant.
I agree with you. Knowing insider info is really the upside of the job, super rewarding haha.
I can't tell you what would be best for you but I can tell you I definitely enjoyed media training!! YOU don't have to be good in front of a camera. You only have to be good at telling people what to do and what not to do 😉
And sometimes your clients are Harry and Louis. And NO AMOUNT of media training can work whatsoever. Someone gets fired. But there really wasn't anything more to be done.
So I’ve been teaching an APR (Accreditation in Public Relations) class for the past four months. Tonight is my students’ Readiness Review, in which they present the project portfolio they’ve worked on under my guidance for the past several months to a panel of veteran APRs. Sort of like defending your master’s thesis. I’m just hovering, escorting students in and out of sessions, keeping their enthusiasm up, calming their anxiety...but my job with this class is almost done. As of tonight, they either move on to their national examination or not. Hopefully I’ve helped prepare them well. I’ll miss them, and it seems a little odd that they’re off on their own now....and I’ll have my Monday nights back.
At least until next spring...

I think the whole point of the babygate/Zayn timeline was to show that in context, it’s clear that there has been a strategic press cycle at work for the last few months. I don’t think anyone was trying to imply that the two are somehow connected, aside from the fact that it’s most likely one PR team (or two PR teams working in sync) strategically releasing baby news around the same time as Zayn news.
Once again we see what 1D PR team and management focus on! It’s sad really... Even I that only graduated a few months ago realise that as a PR we should focus on the positive things our clients do/say! And it’s even more sad to say that this not only applies for Louis but for Harry, Liam and Niall too.
The only good thing about Zigi stunting is the abundance of ziam that shows up on my dash straight after
