Around the holidays YouTube brings together some of the most popular YouTubers to help raise money for charities. On December 24th a 24 hour live stream that is broken up into 24 one hour slots was done to help give back to those in need. All monies raised by donations or in studio tickets will be donated to various charities. This year Henry Day and the Longshots TV will be producing the event. This is the first year that YouTube has allowed a YouTuber hold the responsibility. Youtubers are encouraged to show their support by making cameos, being in the live audience, or showing their support via social media.
This event will take place from December 22, 2018 - December 26, 2018. We know that there are some who will be celebrating the Holidays with their family and have taken this into consideration. This is an event not only for the Youtubers, but those who have various other jobs as well ( managers can help secure sponsors for their Youtubers, editors can help make sure things are running smoothly, etc ). This event is optional, and you are allowed to continue any threads you have going on ( this is an event to help bring Youtubers together )! However, if you would like your character(s) to participate please send an ask with the following information to the main!

Festival of Lights
This takes place on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 7:00pm. There is a small parade of Holiday lights, and at the end location, there is a small carnival with rides, food, and plenty of areas to take photos! Prices are of a typical carnival.
Axelle Rayne Annual December Party
This takes place on December 2, 2018 at Axelle’s home. Everyone is invited! She goes all out for her parties and while they are not wild, she does ask that parents leave their children at home (she has a separate family themed part later on in the month). She will be providing food, gift bags, games, and prizes! Uber rides will be provided for those who are not fit to drive, and desserts and drinks are available all night!

* while these events have dates attached to them, you are free to post open starters, closed starters, visuals, etc, referencing any of these events. all games will be won randomly ( you just have to let the main know that your character is participating ). you do not need to partake in any of these events, but they are highly encouraged!
Event one has ended, and we will be releasing social media posts within the next couple of days! Feel free to post starters that are not based around the event, but you are still ALLOWED to respond to starters that are centered around the event. We will update the points + ranking by tomorrow at 11:59 pm CST!

On September 28,2018, YouTube held a Creator Party to announce that they would now be offering a premium service and creating original content. At this event, the YouTube CEO would announce the projects and names associated with this new venture.
THINGS TO NOTE
While not all the cast & crew have been taken for the ORIGINALS, the basic information is up and your character can reference them, and their thoughts on any of the subject matter.
Channels that are part of the YouTube Originals will have a higher chance of being on the trending page and are pushed by YouTube to users.
All those who have signed up knew about the projects beforehand and were not allowed to let other YouTubers or their Viewers know about it.
The main goal of this event is to help your character be acquainted with those who share the space. They may not keep up with everyone, so this is a good way to meet new people and establish the baseline for future threads.
If you have any social media posts, visuals, moodboards, threads, starters, etc that are based within this event please use the tag pphqevent001 + the appropriate tags.
The event will take place over the weekend - Ending on Sunday at 11:59pm CST. If you have any threads you are free to finish them during the week.
The In-Game schedule looks like this, and you are free to jump in at any point!
7:00pm - 8:00pm : photos, interviews, and mingling. There is an open bar, and designated drives if anyone needs it. The photo and interview portion are similar to red carpet events.
8:05pm - 8:45pm : dinner
8:50pm - 10:00pm : entertainment and upcoming changes to the platform. This highlights the positive changes that YouTube will be implementing and will end on the official announcement that they will be having a premium service. It starts with an open act and an act between each announcement.
By November 2018 Viewers can support the YouTubers they love for only 4.99 a month. You must have 1 million subscribers on a channel.
Notification bugs are predicted to be fixed by October 12, 2018.
They will be hiring more people to help review videos that have been demonetized.

The venue is at a hotel, and they also reserved the main pool area. So in total, there is the Main Dining/Presentation Area ( this was closed for 30 minutes and then turned into a dance area), Large Moonbounce obstacle course in the lawn area, a venue with photobooths and photo props, and the Pool Area. The open bar is located in the Dancing, Photobooth, and Pool area.
