After a morning and afternoon of being grumpy about how tired I was and rushing so that I could be in time for the NDP NE Show this evening, my mum and I met up with @dai_bi_cha who told me she was meeting her "secret" friend. After getting drinks and 5 mins of waiting at the train station for my bro and this "secret", someone tapped on my shoulder and guess which idiot it was, none other than @zee_zy whom I initially thought coincidentally (and crazily) was there cos she had plans instead of catching up on sleep, until I realized there was no surprise between the 2 of them, and then confirmed they were in cahoots to trick me since few days ago when I was asked about my plans for the show this evening. So tricksy these 2! 😤 It was a good evening too, and I felt a renewed sense of patriotism once again during the entire show and after, one that I haven't really felt in some time tbh (think that deserves another post on its own which I'll leave it for now to catch some beauty sleep - look at those tired looks on our faces lol).
