Pierre Hardy’s Poworama capsule is inspired by the Summer 2012 Collector Poworama sneaker, which pays tribute to the Pop Art movement of the 60s and particularly the artist, Roy Lichtenstein. The collection initiates the 20th year Anniversary celebration of the brand which will happen in Autumn of 2019.
The Men & Women collections will be exclusively available on pierrehardy.com and in Pierre Hardy's stores starting from 350 euros to 650 euros.

Poworama sneakers designed by Pierre Hardy...
Pierre Hardy releases his 9th limited edition sneaker this season and this time takes a bit of a different route. Entitled ‘POWORAMA’, the sneaker features a Roy Lichtenstein inspired colorful upper and a large ‘POW’ on the ankle strap. Large perforations on the side-panels and toe box are interesting features of the sneaker, yet maybe not too practical for a shoe releasing December. (via)

Les sneakers Poworama version Pop art de Pierre Hardy
Rien n’arrête Pierre Hardy dans l’ART de la basket. Après s’être inspiré de l’art du graff et des photomontages, il choisit aujourd’hui d’emprunter les codes du pop art pour ses nouvelles créations.
Résultat : une chaussure graphique en patchwork de cuir et veau velours blanc, rouge, noir et jaune ajouté d’un onomatopée : "Pow" scotché sur la languette de la chaussure.
