Let’s start from 6 pages into the book, when we get our first look at Han being a sweetheart.

There’s a creature..or man by the name of Powlo that made his home just outside Han’s current residence, the White Worm syndicate lair. According to stories from the Worms, several people have gone missing near Powlo’s, which probably means that he gobbles up humans for breakfast.

But Han is going to miss his curfew! No doubt they’ll beat the crap out of him if he’s late. So he decides to make for the shortcut past creepy Powlo’s. And gets caught trying to sneak by! Powlo is all glowing yellow eyes and pointy teeth, clearly not human, and clearly threatening. So what does Han do?

“Just heard there was a fellow down here. Wanted to stop by and, uh, say hi. Introduce myself. I’m Han.”

“Han,” Powlo repeated.

“Yep, that’s me. And you’re Powlo. See? We’re friends now.”

Han makes up an excuse to back away and head toward the White Worm lair, but before he does -

“Wait. Han.”

Han froze.

In a plaintive tone, the creature said, “You visit again?”

“Uh, sure. Of course.”

Powlo sneered, showing his pointed teeth. No, he was smiling. “See soon!” he said.

To me, this exchange immediately sets the tone of the whole book. Han defaults to friendly, makes stuff up as he goes, and makes himself all sorts of strange friends by accidentally winding up in trouble. And it gave me a hunch - did Han learn Shyriiwook by doing something like this? Being able to speak a few sentences in many languages is life-saving to a criminal like Han, and I think he might have done it by being friendly to people that others ignore. 

And this is just cute??? Like this old creature has been down in the dumps of Corellia and people made up stories about how terrifying he was, but he’s alone, in need of a friend and speaks broken Basic. And Han is the one to actually talk to him.

They could always buy the books from other players. Go to ch 1 and make a sign saying "B>Ducats 2k/1k gold." It's probably the cheapest way other than actually commercing.

Well, people can get 2 bags from the general shops in Mabi, except one of them you have to keep paying 100k for. Imo, I think it's worth it considering it's 8x10. So they'll have more inventory room without exactly having to do work like commerce.

If they want commerce speed, just get an alpaca robe. You can gather the wool from friends logged into the alpaca, and the commerce speed is basically half the amount of a maxed G15 outfit. :o
