Largest start-up competition of the region grows up in our hands: giants partner up with it by now
Three new famous tech companies have joined the partners of EIT Innoenergy and its PowerUp competition. Beside Revolut and SpeedUp Group, Amazon Web Services (AWS), the subsidiary of the international tech giant has also entered a cooperation with InnoEnergy. AWS is the world’s largest provider of on-demand cloud computing platforms and application programming interfaces (APIs), allowing users to have a virtual cluster of computers at their disposal at all times. AWS provides the selected participants altogether 100,000 euros in credits to their AWS Activate program and business support.
PowerUp competition, which was lunched six years ago, has been renewed by EIT InnoEnergy and became an umbrella program for the organization by now. It’s goal is to support the most innovative entrepreneurships in their endeavour aiming a more sustainable environment, let them be start-ups, scale-ups and SME-s. The chosen companies may receive invitation to an accelerator service of InnoEnergy that fits their size the most; besides, the organization continues to provide mentoring and financial investment. Beyond these, the classical competition specifically for start-ups has stayed intact: with a total amount of €65 000 investment and the Start-up of the Year title. The growth in the number of applicants followed the previous years’ trends: while only 99 start-ups applied in 2016, this number raised to over 300 by 2019, and this record was hit with 360 successful applications this year.

A kezünk alatt nőtt fel a régió egyik legjelentősebb startup-versenye: mára óriáscégek támogatják
Újabb három neves tech vállalat csatlakozott az elmúlt hetekben az ügyfelünk, az EIT InnoEnergy által szervezett PowerUp! verseny támogatói köréhez. A Revolut és a SpeedUp Group mellett a nemzetközi tech óriás leányvállalata, az Amazon Web Services (AWS) is együttműködik az InnoEnergy-vel. Az AWS a világ legnagyobb on-demand felhőalapó számítási platformokat és alkalmazásprogramozási felületeket (API-k) biztosítja, többek között folyamatosan elérhetővé téve számukra virtuális számítógép-hálózatát. A PowerUp Challenge-ben kiválasztott start-upok számára különdíjként az Amazon Web Services üzleti támogatást, valamint 100.000 euró értékű kreditet ajánlott fel az AWS Activate nevű programjához.
A hat éve indított PowerUp! verseny idén megújult, hiszen az EIT InnoEnergy a szervezet ernyőprogramjává tette azt. Célja, hogy a leginnovatívabb fenntarthatóságot célzó vállalkozásokat támogassa projektjük megvalósításában, legyenek azok start-upok, scale-upok vagy kis-és középvállalkozások. A kiválasztott cégek a méretükhöz leginkább illeszkedő üzlettámogató programba kaphatnak meghívást, amellett, hogy az InnoEnergy továbbra is biztosítja a fejlesztést célzó mentoringot, illetve befektetési lehetőséget. A kifejezetten a start-upok számára meghirdetett klasszikus verseny ezzel együtt megmaradt: összesen 65.000 eurós összdíjazással és a nemzeti döntőkön elhódítható Startup of the Year cím lehetőségével. A jelentkezők számának növekedése idén is követte az előző évek trendjeit: amíg 2016-ban csak 99 start-up jelentkezett, 2019-re ezek száma 300 fölé nőtt, idén pedig 360 sikeres nevezéssel újabb rekord dőlt meg.
A Café PR az InnoEnergy közép-kelet-európai lead ügynökségeként hatodik éve látja el a szervezet kommunikációját. A médiakommunikációs feladatok mellett kommunikációs stratégiai tanácsadást, innovatív megoldásokat és inspirációs támogatást biztosítunk a krakkói központ számára. ~Pick a subject, could be anything. Like a dog, or a truck, or a helicopter, or a self portrait, or a tree house.
~Grab a sheet of paper and divide it into 6 even sections.
~Click play on this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsrQ6...
and when the timer starts you have 4 minutes to draw your subject in one of the sections.
~When it beeps again you start another drawing in the second section, but this time you only have 2 minutes to draw it.
~Then do it in 1 minute. Then 30 seconds. Then 15 seconds. And finally 5 seconds.
