#3776 - Powellia sp.
Powellia species were the first psyllids described from New Zealand, in the late 1800s, by William Miles Maskell (1839 –1898) a New Zealand farmer, politician and entomologist. Some of them have been described as Trioza species.
At least a few of them are endemic to Aotearoa - Powellia panacis, the lancewood psyllid, for example. I'm unsure which species this is, but it resembles the Pittosporum Psyllid Powellia vitreoradiata at least.
Oamaru, Aotearoa New Zealand.
