@pounix replied to your post “back at it again playing Hanzo on 9.5 sensitivity after playing him on...”
WHOA DUDE !! is 7(or 9) that good;;?? ngdhbdnd I’m too afraid to try because my mouse is too damn sensible;;; I used to have it at 15 but once I got a new workspace it suddenly felt like I had it on 100 and it was hell;; so now I have it on 4.8 or something and ughghghgbjbf;; IDK I’m sweating I wanna Improve™ my Hanzo® nnNNGHHFNF
it really all depends on the DPI of your mouse on how it’s gonna react to the sensitivity
I have a really basic ass mouse that’s 1000DPI, and TBH that’s all jargon, but that’s how it Works(tm).
and with my mouse that’s 7-9.5 for Hanzo (currently). For you, your workplace mouse DPI must be higher. If you’re able to have it near 5 and be comfortable I’d guess you’re probably around 1600DPI??? If so, I’d say 4/5 is perfect then; I know someone who has those settings and it Works. Whatever is gonna give you that best feeling of fluidity; I always say find what’s comfortable for you
sidenote: lower sensitivity really let me hone in on figuring out the Flick for flick shots, but due to my small hand space (I’m playing on a small lapdesk on a laptop) my turns are clunky, but I dealt with it forever bc my aim was finally getting Good. I was afraid to move up to higher sensitivity again bc I felt like my shots were gonna go all over the place again, but honestly? it’s just felt a lot smoother imo. Hanzo can finally turn around fully with one flick of the wrist :’D
Unrelated: Sometimes it’s good to just update your reticle instead of your sensitivity; I find myself doing that when I’m feelin’ really down with my Hanzo. The current one I have has stuck around for a long ass time now, like maybeeee 8 months or so?
