I was talking to one of my friends about this and these are the conclusions we came to. I hope you enjoy!

Illumi: Smokes high-end cigarettes. Ones that are black and gold and have a nice scent to them. Definitely uses a cigarette holder when he's at events to seem more sophisticated than he actually is, but he smokes them regularly when he's by himself.

Hisoka: We disagreed about this one a bit. She thinks he smokes fruity, colorful cigarettes (some German brand), whereas I think he vapes. He totally vapes indoors with no regard to anyone else, and he dares them to say anything about it. Loves a miami mint or fruity vape. Also teases Illumi about his cigarettes smelling.

Killua: Vapes Blackberry Ice. He does this with the sole intention of pissing Illumi off and being a rebellious teenager. Illumi is 100% the type to get on Killua for nicotine usage while engaging with it himself. There isn't much logic in the Zoldyck family.

Leorio: Zyns. Enough said.

Ging: Rolls the best blunts you've ever seen. Not opposed to cigarettes or chewing tobacco either. Pariston would see him smoking and say something like "those are really so bad for you Ging-san!" then campaign for smoking (mostly weed) to be banned in the Hunter Association to promote a healthy, admirable lifestyle. Once this law passes, Ging would get pissed off, and Pariston would repeal the law saying something like "the Hunter Association shouldn't interfere with Hunters personal lives".

Feitan: Does a little bit of everything; smokes cigarettes/joints, vapes, etc. Really, whatever he can get his hands on. Strongly opposed to Zyns and would tell Phinks he's gay for using them instead of smoking like a “normal person”

Pouf: Wouldn't smoke so his body can remain in perfect condition to serve the king. Additionally:

Youpi: Doesn't care about having his body be in the most pristine condition possible. Hookah smoker.

Chrollo: Can't smoke at all. He's actually terrible at inhaling and gave up on smoking long ago. Gets teased about it.

Uvogin: Hookah smoker.

Morel: Hookah smoker + cigars. I mean, his entire ability revolves around lung capacity and smoke.

Kurapika: Chain-smokes cigarettes when he's stressed (so all of the time). Has zero regard for the health ramifications or his life.
