And ugh, let's see if I can't explain you this so you can understand me lol I have a Windows and I only know how to save and install fonts in Windows, so well, I'm gonna explain the Windows version.
First you have to dowload the font, this one for example. It's a zip file so you have to put the font out of the zip, in the folder you want (I put it on my dowload folder), like this:
And you'll have something like this:
Then you have to go to the Control Panel and find a folder where says Fonts. Open it. Now you have to put the font (the file you put out of the zip file - the second image) to the Fonts folder, like this:
And you have the font installed in your laptop :) You have the font installed in ALL the programs you can use any type of font so you have the font in paint too, just open the text opcion and look for the font you want.
I REALLY hope this can help you. I'm useless when I have to make any kind of tutorial. And sorry for the images but I think you'll understand it better with them.
