Mangrove Whelk (Terebralia palustris)
Also known as the Mud Creeper, the mangrove whelk is a species of brackish potamidid gastropod that occurs throughout the Red Sea and Indian Ocean off the east coast of Africa and Madagascar. Like its common name suggests T. palustris is typically found in mangroves and inhabits muddy surfaces.
