This is the kind of non-scale victory I needed in my life today. My @fitbit resting heart rate score improved another point! This is the highest I’ve ever seen it. . This is some helpful motivation since I’m feeling some post wedding/winter weather blues. . I got on the scale yesterday for the first time since New Year’s Eve morning (start of my wedding weekend) and I weighed *TEN POUNDS* more in 10 days! . Yes it’s water weight, and my period that came finally, but also it was eating all the leftover wedding food, not doing much activity aside from careful walks with the dog (didn’t want to chance a fall again) and endless couch snuggles with my new husband. . So I know the 10 pounds is a blip, but it’s a reminder how quickly a years work can get erased if I’m not doing what works for me. . What works for me is drinking a lot of water, eating veggie and balanced meals, exercise, not too much phone time, and tracking all the things! .
