So today was gp Amsterdam, which was very fun thank you for asking. I scoured for some singles went into Amsterdam, great stuff. Some of you may know i like D.va, a lot (no seriously, don't go through my likes it's just 1400+ D.va drawings). And some of you may happen to know I collect D.va art (if you're having trouble coming up with an ascension favor you know what to do Steve ;) ). But today was a little different. What you see here is a playmat i commissioned @postrk to draw for me (which he was kind enough to do). The amount of detail is simply stunning, i made sure to take a close up picture as well so you can see the amount of lines drawn, it's astounising. I simply love everything about this playmat. The pose she is in, her facial expression, the detail that went into the environment, the fact rk post still managed to get the mech into the picture and her hair is gorgeous as well. From what i've been told this took 1,5 days to complete and was all done with the sharpy i included (which i was told i could have, so who am i to refuse that offer). Rk is such a perfectionist and it really shows, he told me he flipped the logo upside down but caught it before he drew it on. After purchasing this beauty i went and bought a tube to save it in. Which, of course, was to small. This was done on a high quality mat with thicker rubber so it takes up some more space. I was gifted the death and taxes sleeve for the mat where it fits in perfectly (and has some pretty cool art as well). Finally i found this foil marchesa of the black rose. I thought she would be a pretty cool commander so i snagged her up and asked rk post to alter a D.va on it (at that point he told me hed probably get D.va filled nightmares with all the requests i'd given him). I think it turned out great and i'm happy to have a personalized commander for my deck. I think all in all i lingered at his stand for about two hours and the entire time he was so kind to my girlfriend and me. I feel kinda guiltt for hogging ao much of his attention but i had a blast hearing all his stories (and he has a lot of great ones as well! Speak to him when you find him at a local gp, which he will be because this man is frickin everywhere). P.s. if you're going to dreamhack and you cosplay D.va i prepaid some D.va tokens for you to snag free of charge. Just felt like i needed to mention that.
