Radical Moderate
Politically: I'm Radically Moderate. Moderate as a Verb; that is: to Moderate, as a political orientation... a “Doing”, as well as a “Being” Moderate...
A moderator moderates between seemingly opposing positions, (e.g. between "Left" and "Right")
but then also, Radically so --> i.e. moderating also between the tendency to "be moderate" and the tendency to "be extreme"...
To moderate the latter is "easy" enough... its pathologies are readily apparent --> "Extremism" itself is already a bad word, and "moderation" is constructed as a remedy to the inevitable conflicts that Extremisms tend to engender.
At the same time, there is a form of "excessive moderation", in which one becomes so attached to mediating between seemingly opposing positions that one can become mired in taking absolutely no position at all, perpetually sitting on the fence, addicted to the view and incapacitated from being involved in the action; becoming amoral, at best, and perhaps frighteningly complicit in ongoing oppression or suffering at worst.
So to be a Radical Moderate is to also moderate these tendencies... see: This form of Radical Moderation is the work of Liberation.
The Middle Way is a politically tenable position.
