I think it may be how people have a perception of 'perfection' that would be impossible or extremely difficult to attain, so then that ideal would be a myth because it is made up. Then how magic, in theory, can be used for good or for bad- but it is people who decide what is good and what is bad, and people, again, aren't perfect. That imperfection is then how every person is different, but some people have more uniqueness to them (?) so then those people are coveted because they are so different. (However I think that's not the general consensus because many people who are different are cast out because of their differences, which is sad, but that's besides the point). Going from there, S. Jarvis is saying how things that are different from what is usual in nature are precious. Then how nature is based on mathematics, which is fairly true, and how math revolves around logic. Jarvis says that logic is pure thought, so he may be thinking that logic is instinct, which can be seen as pure thought because ever sentient being has instincts, but then instincts aren't always thought of as thoughts so it could be something different. "Anything pure is perfect" would be Jarvis saying that logic is perfect since "logic is pure thought", but then that goes against the original statement that perfection is made up, unless the thinking is that logic is a myth. It is confusing at the end there, kind of like thoughts that you'd have in the middle of the night that don't make sense in the morning. I probably made it more confusing, but maybe not....hopefully not..

oh.. that’s a shame. It is nice to have such a prominent figure of the church have the level of acceptance he has, but it would also be better if he was more accepting.
