when writing saphira, i really do have to keep a few things in mind. 

she's very, well... she's got a free spirit and an open mind and she's very sweet and kind. but with her comes no naivety- and she actually plays herself off to most new people as uncaring. she does have trust issues, though she's come to trust her team very quickly. 

she blames herself for a lot. she doesn't like talking about her past because she kinda caused her older brother edison to lose his memories and she hurt her other siblings and mother. while she takes most things in stride, she also keeps these things to herself and in her moments of weakness, she thinks about this. 

she. doesn't. take. shit. she feels like she gets that from her mother and from tesla, actually. she has big powers (and while she's still pretty freaked out by them!!) she knows how to use them. 

she's intricate. she's elaborate and not simple at all. 

1. If you had to be one of the Four Horsemen, who would you be?

Death. I want to be shrouded in darkness so that when people look at me they aren’t sure what they’re seeing. I think I’d like the ability to appear differently to different people, though, too, so maybe I only appear that way to people with cruel hearts? For those who are pure I want to be warm and welcoming, like I’m taking them to rest. Like a skeleton with flowers growing out if my ribs and eye sockets and wearing something so bright it almost hurts to look at, until I embrace them and they’re just as bright. That’s what I’m about.

Lunges really hurt my knees :(

Arkansas is the only state with both native beavers and alligators in the wild (that's not funny but i'm drawing a blank)

Journalism/yearbook (literally I was the editor and designer)

I’d join a drum corps after becoming superb at the quads/quints/whatever your band calls them

as all of me plays in the background WELL i like to think so, whether the relationships are friendships or more than that. i think anything that's near to you is worth it, even if "it" is fighting for it or something like that. if it means a lot, it's worth it.

Heroes or villains? Uhhh not totally sure. I like villains with a bad past or something that explains why they're bad. But I also enjoy a good hero as long as they "conquer their own demons" as well as the antagonist. Super cheesy but I love personal development in fictional and non-fictional characters lol

What character(s) do you relate to the most? Haha I have my list of characters I relate to. I have Morgiana, Mikasa, Miki, (lots of Ms), Harley Quinn, Kirigiri, and Wendy from Gravity Falls. I think they all have parts that I can relate to and are similar to me, but I'm not 100% them. I think the closest to being JUST like me would be Miki Hoshii though.

Favorite constellation? Oh god you know I've had people telling me to take an astrology class but I keep saying no. I seriously am only coming up with the big dipper and that constellation in Men In Black. I know absolutely nothing about this topic I'm so sorry.

What would you do if you could never fail anything? If I could never fail at anything? I'd be fucking rich that's what. I think my life would be boring though because if you don't fail, you don't learn.

What’s one of your fondest memories? This isn't one specifically, but I remember I used to play with all the kids on the block and we always went to Cody and Jeremy's house because they didn't have a fence in their backyard. We'd use our imagination and pretend we were power rangers or from Harry Potter or pokemon. I was always outside when I was a kid.

Worst nightmare? I had a dream where I had to tell everyone I knew that my mom was dead. I woke up crying. I think it hit home because I know that day is going to come sooner than I'd like.

Best dream? I want to have a lucid dream but I never do. My dreams are weird. I remember having a dream where I was a cowgirl that was cool.

Favorite quote/saying? I love looking up sayings, but I think "Dream as if you'll live forever, dream as if you'll die today" is the one that really hit me, as cheesy as it is.
