He nodded slow and shifted his foot, finally letting Ashdrinker go. ‘Are you certain?’ The coldblood looked sidelong at his oldest friend. He took in the tensed muscles in his jaw and the fire burning in his grey eyes as he stared stubbornly ahead, desperately avoiding his gaze. ‘I can feel it, Gabe,’ he said quietly. ‘Celene can, too.’
