So. After the long rude delay. Yeah I’ve read them. Finally. The Awakening and The Legacy…. Damn. I don’t know where to start, some of my feels, the author already knows because I have this “reading sessions” with Ana, I don’t know if she hates or loves them. In the most critical point I write to her about the scene including my feelings, because I wanna know about her ideas at the scene :D

So let’s start with The Awakening.

It starts with so much action!! I just love the pace/tempo(I don’t know how to call it properly) of it. It’s fast, intriguing and funny at the same time.

My highlights of it (no spoilers)                                                                         I love Kendrick, he’s such character I like reading/watching.

I actually laughed out loud at the mention of a peculiar “poster” 😄 the scene is so well set in my imagination and it’s so pure!

And then there is The Legacy...

This time things get started a little slowly but more emotionally.

I really liked reading some more detail on Lady Croft and her life. Lara would hate to admit but they are so much alike.

Selma got toughened, I always liked her, she’s even more badass now :D     And Zip of course, always the best :D

I don’t wanna give spoilers but even with just 6 chapters it got me like:

Why no mentions of Lara and Kurtis? Because they are deserve a new paragraph :D

Lara

I told you, I wanna punch her right now Ana. She’s just. She’s just... I don’t wanna talk about it.

Kurtis

Kurtis being Kurtis but, after losing his Gift, he seemed a bit uncertain of himself, and Lara not helping about it at all :D Don’t hurt my poor warrior, who became amazingly cute; but not annoying acting as a father.

Well, talking about being a father, we need a child here right?

I told you earlier that I wasn’t very fond of them having a child. In Liliths Scepter this detail served as a very important part of the story. But I was veeery curious about her future.

I wasn’t fond of a child in a story such adventurous and independent, because I was afraid that it would somehow limit all these features it has. But no, remind yourself lady, it is @positivelyamazonian who’s writing this story...                 You managed to keep the balance between all this parenting and searching for adventure/causing trouble! Also, this parenting has added this raiding world a new spice and despite slowing down the pace, “she” made it more and more thrilling and fresh!

Child, child, who’s the child? Our beloved Anna of course!                         You wondered if I liked her or not? I LOVED her! From the first scene! I don’t know what was it, her drawing ability, being fearless enough to join her mom in a dangerous trip or her cleverness(avoiding the spoilers)?

Then we get to know her even more and my admiration towards her increased. She’s so well written, her character is so good! She’s always positive, knows how to deal with her shit, and her reaction with her dad told her about the “ehem ehem ehem” ?? OMG. She’s the best. I think I found so much from myself reading her, including her having a mouth of a sailor :D She’s so precious, I’m writing this with a huge smile on my face. I love her so much. 

As a reader who wasn’t very fond of her existence at first( no offense please, I feel bad writing a thing that sounds negative, but you know my reasons :D) I can tell, she mesmerised me! You can write her daily life in a chapter and I’ll read it. She managed to get all the good aspects of her blood relations DNA :D

Congrats Anna you well natured girl in a danger zone!

Overall, thank you @positivelyamazonian for this new fresh storyline, even though it has all the characters we know, it’s something new and I love it! Can’t wait for the next chapter!
