Update: Indeed he did and it was glorious!!!

It was dark as Talon moved silently through the Great Hall and headed down the stairs to the basements.  The fires in the Hall had died down and were little more than coals, their light not reaching much further than their hearth.  

He’d been waken by another nightmare, and had little desire or ability to go back to sleep.  A small snack or a walk was in call for, if only to give himself something to do other than sit in his room all damn night.  Or maybe a ride.

Quietly opening the door to the kitchens though, he hadn’t expected to find anyone else in there.  The staff had cleaned up for the night, and it was certainly too early for any morning preparations to begin being made.

Emo boy?  The comment earned her a raised eyebrow and a look that said ‘really?’.  She was right though.  This town, the abandoned house the Redbrands were hiding out in, something just seemed off about it all.  He stared at the warm cup of tea in his hands, an ear twitching occasionally as he tried to think how to put it into words.  Eventually he just shook his head, glancing up at his friend sitting on the table.
