Just finished Positive Constitution/Be Positive and feel like writing down some thoughts. Yup, just checked another work from the same Do Kyungsoo.

While watching, I felt the humor and some scenes vibe reminded me of Be Melodramatic, only to find out they’re from the same screenwriter and director. This was a good plus :) (I’ve watched Twenty too but some time has passed and I can’t recall a lot...maybe the scenes of Hwandong with his parents go back to Woobin’s character family ones).

Episode 5 is the highlight for me: their reencounter/back to the relationship roots, Hwandong and Inguk natural giggles over shoveling and getting those abs, the ritual to wish for success, the hilarious yet disastrous meeting with the movie team and this look:

It is short, an easy watch but the message is relatable to young adults and delivered: set the goals, strive against odds and, even then, take failure as a step. When you’re creating something that employs others, it’s no longer your idea but a our. For this, take the warm scenes of the movie team on the dakbal restaurant and at their shoot. 

They kind of managed to get some depth into the main characters and I really liked the female lead too (and that “scandal” criticism). As for Kyungsoo, it’s good to meet him in a witty and goofier character and get drowned by the thousand expressions that cross his face. His narrating voice though... This is where I loose my last bit of coherency and end this post.
