i've been wanting to make some hockey objects, gear, and accesories for poseing for YEARS and i'm trying at it again but how TF do you do texturing for accessories?

first pic is the object i converted (from sketchfab) with no problems

and then i tried to convert it into an acc for posing and i can't figure out how to get the texturing right in the uv map (it's the part where i'm putting the texture over the uv map in gimp/photoshop to then import into the diffuse texture on sims4studio)

if anyone has any tips plz let me know :D
