From that date until 1288 he belonged to the Monastery of São Pedro de Ferreira, after which, until 1583, he belonged to the bishop and chapter of the Oporto Cathedral. The temple was originally founded in the place of the White Pebble, where there are no traces, passing in a period not later than the fifteenth century to the place of the Spine, in the place now called Adro Velho.
