American Weekly, "Daring Aimee Crocker" (1948) Al Kortner. Legend has it the two rival suitors, Porter Ashe and Harry Gillig, played cards for her hand. Ashe had 4 aces, and a divorce a year later. Gillig got his turn, she married and divorced him next (he was 2 out of 5, or perhaps 12 husbands, depending on who you ask).
