This time last year I went on a risky adventure with some great guys to drive hundreds of miles across the Arctic sea ice...in a Jeep. Homer to UtqiaΔ‘vik, Alaska, the northernmost town in America. A little #detail action. "Pipeline Tuttu" * * * #MEGAfauna #painting inspired by my #arcticdrive in a @jeep to #Utqiagvik last winter, involving 200+ miles of driving over the sea-ice. This is a section of the #daltonhighway along the #pipeline through the #Alaska #tundra where we saw many #caribou (tuttu, if you know) which leads us to this piece (22x30" - mixed media on canvas - 2017).
