#cresentcity #popdollsofthenight Hi yโall, Iโm a bit more offline than what I would like ๐ฅด but thatโs due to anxiety and work stress ๐ค I really am upset in the way the book community is becoming a witch hunt, I really condone disrespect, racism and hurtful opinions which are used to start a bullying war against each other. My account is for sharing the books I have read, the book goodies I love to share and my cats that I love to share with you for pure joy. The books I read are 98% fiction so Iโm not gonna start a war or give an opinion if what I read is wrong or not, because when I look up fiction in the dictionary it says; โFiction generally is a narrative form, in any medium, consisting of people, events, or places that are imaginaryโin other words, not based strictly on history or factโ So thatโs about that, but what I do want is that publisherโs take responsibility for what they publish and give warnings in all books about what it contains and if it will have disturbing stuff or will have content that could feel hurtful (group/people/race/ etc) so we as a reader can decide if we want to read that book, knowing it could have content that I would disagree on. And that will make publisherโs more aware that a lot of YA is more NA due to contents in the books. About the authors that do things I donโt like, I stop supporting them after I have done my own research off the events that have been called out, if it is true I stop following, I will not buy anymore books and will not support publisher/author in anyway anymore.
