Currently considering vegetarianism ever since I cracked and egg this morning for breakfast and there was blood in it 😭 Good thing my orthodox Christian fast starts on the 27th and I can't eat eggs anyway

Chicken help?
So my friend/landlord has 20 chickens and is away for a week, so I’m feeding them. One of them, I noticed this morning, is hopping on one leg and panting. Upon closer inspection (not too close; these are not pets) it seems like there are a few scales missing on the front of her leg.
The wound seems mainly superficial though without even closer inspection (where are my heavy gloves lol) I can’t be 100% sure. It seems like it could possibly heal on its own, but I obviously am concerned about bacteria.
Mostly, though, I’m worried about her not being able to get to food and water; she seems exhausted and, as I mentioned, panting, probably from fatigue.
Does anyone have any ideas?

:( oh no one of our chickens is gone.... the wind is blowing so hard it caused the kennel to move and it must of squeezed out... and the friend's dog was loose, so the poor thing is probably long dead somewhere... :((( it's honestly really sad
this is why i get so damn peeved, the fucking friend never takes action to take care of his own damn chickens until something's already gone wrong, and now a damn chicken has been killed because of him! if he had just done the fucking SMART thing and tethered down the kennel, that poor chicken would still be here! >:((((
