yeahhhh, the only good thing was that when i criticised it in the seminar i read it for, the seminar leader said i had really good points and it was really good i was critically reading material even for seminars (since i’ve only been at uni 7 weeks and everyone else seemed to take it at face value).

i think the other fifteen year old’s mum is getting involved so my mum’s feeling a little more confident? and she’s insisting on picking my sis up at midday the day after (which is somehow early), so my sis can revise for her gcse next week.

i think i must be missing out on stuff (i know my mum’s met said girl, but for like 5 mins in a starbucks?) but like. kinda concerned. pretty concerned. there’s talk of trust going on rn. i’m confused and concerned. kinda want to talk to my mum about this, but i’ll probably get her “you’re not [sis]’s mother, it’s not your business” spiel.

That’s really gross and incredibly disturbing. Like holy shit. I’m sorry she’s not listening to you, because that’s fucking dangerous.

i mean, i’m unfortunately used to her not listening to me - at best she ignores me and at worst she’s pretty fucking abusive. and, unfortunately, i’m not surprised she’s in this situation - our dad’s brainwashed her into thinking he’s not abusive and she’s really protective of him and thinks that behaviour is 100% acceptable.

i mean, i haven’t even mentioned the entire situation, but it’s all sending alarm bells off left, right, and centre???? and my sis, being fifteen years old, either doesn’t get why we’re both concerned or thinks we’re being unfair/ridiculous/etc.

apparently this girl was originally a friend of a friend, but i’m just - when i was the same age, i was friends with an entire group of older kids (literally just a year above me) and, at the time, it seemed great. now i look back and i’m like “holy shit that was messed up” and i really don’t want my sis to get in the same situation? because i got out pretty easy and was really lucky, but from the sounds of this i literally do not trust this girl whatsoever. i’m also worried bc another fifteen year old girl is going to this sleepover, and this is a really fucking concerning situation.
