#poolies

At the local Tops again and as I was pawing through the horrible produce, all squishy, and with the clouds of fruit flies I was in a state of despair. Just earlier I had said to my wife that I remembered when my vocabulary did not make regular use of the phrase "god damned ignorant honkies." In the deli cooler the single piece of packaged goods desired was a day from expiration and the last time we bought hummus there it lasted a few days before fuzzing out despite the expiration date being well ahead of the calendar date. I looked around again and I realized that the humanity had been stripped from these people. I was living amongst orks and trolls who were mostly if not more than happy for slop from the trough. These weren't people, these were cattle! Eat, sleep, shit, fuck and die. If you gave squirrels a penny a nut for every one they confused before loosing it, a TV and a few weekends off a year you would be no further ahead. Sometimes I think I should ride without a helmet. I'm only one good wreck from contentedness.

All over my dash Poolies count down the days till they go to bootcamp while Marines count the days to there EAS. 

Why don't poolies ever talk about this ? Just curious I thought they made you run these in bootcamp. Not to mention the amount of time your gonna spend running in boots rather then sneakers especially if you go 03.
